LONDON FASHION WEEK - AUTUMN/WINTER 14-15

RYAN LO

There is something so childhood reminiscent about this collection.
It makes me think of being a little girl, putting on my favourite party dress and going outside to play cowboys with my brother.
That little girl would have grown up to be a fan of the Western film genre - if the gunslinger hero was dressed in these pastel outfits.

ASHISH

Light up platform sneakers, slouchy silhouettes adorned with sparkle, daytime sequins.
This collection would sit in the casual/street section of the wardrobe of a magical fairy princess; I wish I was this magical fairy princess.

VIVIENNE WESTWOOD

The only way I would join the ranks of the corporate world, would be if I was allowed to wear a suit with a big heart on the blazer.

BORA AKSU

The prettiest, peachy/pink tones and Heidi hair braids, is the perfect sweetheart recipe.

PAM HOGG

It is hard to fathom that this collection was put together in just three short weeks.
But with hard work and fantastic ideas, great things can happen.
It makes it all the more fitting, that this collection entitled “Courage”, is dedicated to Pussy Riot.

CHRISTOPHER KANE

This sweater!

FYODOR GOLAN

Inspired by their travels to Burma, this collection has a strong fantasy element.
I am always blown away when designers seem to take such contrasting ideas and clash them together in a harmonious partnership.

PINGHE

This clear PVC, fishtail skirt!

HOUSE OF HOLLAND

Never the wall flower at fashion week, the most shocking thing about this collection is the inclusion of a LBD.
Although it is the LBD that is supposed to be the essential of every wardrobe, it’s the lipstick embroidered jacket that I am lusting over.

FASHION EAST – ASHLEY WILLIAMS

A few pieces to keep us cat lady fashionistas happy.

VIVETTA

Vivetta continues to deliver girly and sugar sweet pieces to perfection.
If money were no object, I would buy every piece from this pastel, polka dotted collection.

MEADHAM KIRCHHOFF

Since their SS12 show, I have developed a borderline obsession with Meadham Kirchhoff. They don’t ever seem to set a foot wrong and this range was no exception.
This collection has it all - soft pastels, luxurious velvets, delicate lace and those rainbow metallic boots are the things dreams are made of.
